Ultra-small 1.7MHz, 600mA, Low-Voltage Synchronous Step-Down Converter

 
DESCRIPTION
 
The MP28119 is a 1.7MHz constant frequency, current mode, ultra-small PWM step-down converter. The device integrates a main switch and a synchronous rectifier for high efficiency and eliminates the need for an external Schottky diode. It is ideal for powering portable equipment that runs from a single cell Lithium-Ion (Li+) battery. The MP28119 can supply 600mA of load current from a 2.5V to 6V input voltage. The MP28119 offers fixed 1.0V and 1.2V output option and adjustable output option. The MP28119 can run at 100% duty cycle for low dropout applications, and includes an output discharge function to control the discharging of the output capacitor. The MP28119 is available in an ultra-small 2x2 QFN package.
